Crystal Group, Inc., founded by Craig Jensen in 1987 has evolved over the years to a leading designer/manufacturer of rugged computer and electronic hardware.  On October 19, 2018, Crystal Group President, Scott Kongable, cut the ribbon for the new headquarters at 855 Metzger Drive, Hiawatha, IA.

The unveiling of the new corporate headquarters reveals an additional 111,500 square foot state-of-the-art building on the Crystal Group’s growing campus.  With a total of 160,000 square feet of manufacturing and administration operations, they can now meet military and industrial customers’ increasing demand for this industry.  Additionally, Phase II addition to the building should begin in the next five years for 30,000 additional square feet to continue to meet future growth.

This expansion created 50 new jobs for Crystal Group, Inc.  They currently employ over two hundred and twenty people and rising to meet the new headquarters’ current capacity of two hundred eighty-five.
